People often struggle to get what they want out of life.
Can you relate?
The constant hustle, cultural pressures, and all the internal chaos it causes — tends to leave us all with our heads spinning.
They say:
- The narcissistic subconscious mind is stuck in the past.
- The overly sensitive nervous system is traumatized because of the past.
- The exhausted physical body is damaged from the effects of it all.
- And the conscious mind is forced to live in the present moment — unable to affect any of its influence over life without incredible determination and relentlessly restarting as needed.
Yet, following the suggested course of action to do all that powering through, usually, unpleasantly — blows up in our faces.
In countless, radically ironic ways that tend to leave us deeply questioning ourselves, reality, and everything in between.
But here’s the really cool thing..
When you look at the mechanics — The truth becomes ridiculously obvious..
The human body is biologically designed to work. Not to break and give up — but to adapt, overcome, and persevere.
When our conscious self is aware of reality, but doesn’t currently have the available capacity or resources to act on the incoming (or nagging) insights — the infamous ego springs to the surface.
We throw fits — some internalized, some right out loud for the world to see.. and remember — forever.
.. Especially if the event caused a mistake, issue, or spectacle that affected the witnesses.
Because of this, we subtly (as sometimes not so subtly) create little rules, tricks, justifications, and other personally tuned life hacks that allow us to mitigate the consequences of those actions in the best way we can — from the mind-space we were in when we set them in place.
We alter the way we function — react to outside influences, express emotions, process information, manage impulse, and so much more.
This creates a comfort zone of sorts where the patterns, routines, and habits we run off of each day generally keep us silently pumped with feelings of control.
Sometimes it works out in our favor — sometimes, it absolutely does not.
And the amount of strife, struggle, and stress our lives hold everyday trying to manage it all just pushes those survival tactics into constant, exhausting overdrive.
.. Leaving us to wake up on the regular — wondering how the hell we got here and why the hell we can’t get out of here now.
The secret is held by your nervous system, but not in the mainstream way you might think!
While survival mode as a concept remains stuck in a misappropriated hot zone that gives the nervous system, physical body, and subconscious mind a terrible reputation — the simple truth shows itself to us when we look.
You don’t go back to your old ways because your mind cannot move on, and your nervous system does not activate survival mode to interrupt your control.
Your body is an automatically run creature of earth that adapts its function to your conscious influence — by design.
Every function of the automatic system is designed to protect you holistically — they do not run with a moral biased, emotional narrative, or desire for control.
The system works mechanically — You add the spunk.
Once you understand how the mechanics work, you get to adjust your spunk to enhance the system function.
And that my friends — is the truth about designing your own reality.
